Rotary: Making A Difference!
Conference Highlights
Friday
Club Assembly (Club Leadership Training) - Join club leaders and members from both Districts to learn more about Membership, Foundation, Public Image, and more.
Our keynote speaker during lunch will be Tiffany Ervin, Past President of the Four Seasons Rotary Club in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Tiffany is known worldwide as the "Rotary Geek", and was most recently selected to serve as Rotary District 7670 Governor for Western North Carolina in 2019-2020. Tiffany's presentation is titled "What Miss America, College Football, and Rotary Have in Common"
Food Fest: A Taste of Rotary - Kick off the Conference with food, fun, fellowship and music. Clubs are invited to share samples of their favorite foods used in fundraising and community events, sample some of Little Rock's craft beers, and dance the night away to the sounds of Rock Candy.
Saturday
Saturday's breakout sessions will be centered around our theme of Joining Leaders, Exchanging Ideas, and Taking Action. Sessions will include communication between generations, engaging young professionals, starting a satellite club, how to be a leader, how to make meetings more vibrant, and international project opportunities. Our keynote speaker for both breakfast and lunch will be PDG Gayle Knepper from Anchorage, Alaska. In addition to serving as District Governor for the largest geographic district in the Rotary world (Alaska, USA; Yukon, Canada; Siberia and Far East, Russia), Gayle has served as a GSE team leader, Foundation volunteer, and on numerous humanitarian projects in Russia and Papua New Guinea.
Saturday night we will celebrate our club accomplishments at our Annual Awards Banquet. Our keynote speaker will be popular Arkansas blogger and columnist, Rex Nelson.
Sunday morning
Following a nondenominational memorial service, join Rotarians and families in a service project for the Little Rock community
Bring your family to Little Rock with you. While you are enjoying the best of Rotary in our Districts, your family can be exploring and shopping in Little Rock. Free shuttle service from the hotel will be provided to Downtown Little Rock, the Zoo, Park Plaza Mall, and the Outlets of Little Rock.
